More and more audio equipment is now being offered with the superior 20 AMP size A-C power inlet. This is the cord-end connector that fits! In addition to the higher power rating, this connector set fits much more securely into the power inlet than the traditional smaller 15 AMP size.

This ultra high quality connector is made by California based Marinco®, a company that manufactures hundreds of power plugs, sockets, and power distribution products It is the same connector offered by Wattgate® at around double our price. In their print media ads, Wattgate® claims to have spent 2 years developing this part. Maybe they looked through catalogs for two years to find it, as Marinco® has had this part available for some time. Wattgate® buys the stock Marinco® part, then hot stamp the words 'audio grade' and a 'blue star' graphic into it. They also apply '3-layer' gold plating to the tangs. This layered copper, nickel, and gold plating actually degrades the sound of the stock part, adding a haze and removing definition from the sound. It is NOT cryo treated in any way by any method. After comparing, audiophiles agree that a stock Marincoä part sounds better than their high price version, and that the JENA LABSã Deep Immersion Cryogenic treatment radically improves the sound of the Marinco® connector. Our treated plug is also very affordably priced.

This great Marinco® power plug might look familiar to you. It is the same plug offered by Wattgate® at 3 or 4 times our price! They also claim to make them in-house. 'Watt-a-Claim!' We were the original Cryogenics supplier of this part to Sound Application, who sold them for $120.00 to $160.00. They now buy the same semi-custom socket from Hubbell and have a cheaper, warmer and overall inferior vapor cryo process done to it. They still have the audacity to charge the same high 'Jim Dandy Application price'. We continue to supply our original and superior part at substantially less cost, including the superior Deep Immersion Liquid Nitrogen cryogenic treatment.
